Cupcake Delivery Frequently Asked Questions

How are the cupcakes packaged?

Our cupcakes are securely held in specially designed, sturdy posting boxes, with individual lids to keep the cakes fresh and safe during transport.

How long do the cupcakes take to arrive?

You can select your preferred dispatch date at checkout, and most orders will arrive on the following day. The cupcakes are sent via Royal Mail 1st class post.

Royal Mail say “We aim to deliver 93% of 1st Class mail the next working day after posting” so sometimes it takes 2 days. Please take this into consideration when selecting your dispatch date.

Please note cupcakes can be posted Monday to Friday, to allow delivery dates of Tuesday to Saturday. We want the cupcakes to arrive as fresh as possible, so we do not post over the weekend.

Can I make my gift more personal?

Absolutely, yes! We encourage you to add a name, team colours, age etc to your gift, please add this information in the ORDER NOTES section on the checkout page.

Where can cupcakes be posted to?

We can post to any UK address including workplace addresses.

Can I still send when nobody will be home to accept the cupcakes?

You certainly can. If the recipient has set this up with Royal mail, their package can be left in a safe place or with a neighbour. If this isn’t set up and nobody is home Royal Mail will leave a red card and return the package to the sorting office for collection or redelivery. Please note that no responsibility can be taken for packages lost if they have not been sent by recorded post.

Can I ship to more than one address?

Yes, you just need to complete a separate purchase for each shipping address.

Can I order a large cake, or more than 6 cupcakes?

Yes you can. You can double up your order to have 12 cupcakes delivered to the same address and receive £8.50 off the order, just enter the voucher code DOUBLEUP at checkout.

If you’d like more than 12 cupcakes, or a large cake, we can deliver these local to our base in Leeds. Contact us for more information or take a look at the main Cupcake Crumbs of Leeds website here.

Do your cupcakes contain allergens?

All cupcakes contain egg, gluten (from wheat flour), and milk. Nuts and other allergens are also handled in the kitchen.

How long do your cupcakes last?

As with most things, the fresher the better. Cupcakes are baked in small batches with fresh ingredients on the day of dispatch to ensure maximum freshness when they arrive. For the most pleasurable experience, eat
within 3 days of arrival, if you can last that long!

Do your cupcakes contain preservatives?

Nope! We use fresh, local (where possible) ingredients to make our cupcakes,      starting with real butter.
