This new and exciting partnership, launched this week, brings together 12 women and girls organisations in Leeds to empower women and girls to lead healthier, safer and more fulfilled lives.
I was pleased to supply a cake (a celebration without a cake is just a meeting, after all) for the launch event, and some cupcakes for the Leeds Women’s Aid stall.
£2m of lottery funding has made the project possible, with Leeds Women’s Aid the lead agency. More details can be found here, and you can follow WLL on Twitter here
I always love helping people celebrate, and I recently had the chance to help the celebrations along when a local organisation, Lhasa Limited, was awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in 2016
Lhasa is a not-for-profit organisation and educational charity that facilitates collaborative data sharing projects in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and chemistry-related industries.
More information about Lhasa and their award can be found by clicking here
Don’t forget you can see photos of all our latest creations, from small cupcake boxes to large wedding cakes and everything in between on our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages

Cupcake Crumbs are very happy to announce today that Leeds Women’s Aid is the fantastic charity we are supporting this year.
From Leeds Women’s Aid:
Our mission is to protect women and children in Leeds from the damage that domestic violence can inflict on their lives. We believe that all women and children have the right to live their lives free from fear and harm. We will achieve this by providing women with choices from a range of services including temporary supported housing, outreach support, telephone support and floating support.
At Cupcake Crumbs we began our support today by donating some food and toiletry items for the supported housing scheme, and also a box of cupcakes for the office staff.
Watch this space for some special cupcake boxes with an amount from each sale being passed straight on to the charity.

Here are some new baby boy cupcakes at 3pm on Monday, about to leave the kitchen….
And here are the very same cupcakes at 12pm on Tuesday, having travelled through the trusty postal system overnight….
Maybe don’t spend too long looking for differences 😉
Many thanks to Jen for sending the “after” photo for me.
